We have a cacao farm in Papaikou and when the tourism was normal, we had sometimes 5 helicopters in a cue flying up and down the coast- almost in formation! The sound was very noticeable, annoying and impacted sometimes recordings that were being done here and were often a sound annoyance while we conducted our agricultural tours, education sessions and hosting events. Try recording a lecture when there are helicopters over head. They were flying 7 days a week many times a day and impacted the quality of the tours we were conducting. If they flew further over the water and limited the days they flew (so we can at least have a break now and then), this would go a long way to decrease their impact on the community.
